PRESCOTT – Provincial police officers will be focusing on fiddlers with cell phones, GPS devices and iPods next week.
Grenville County O.P.P. are taking part in the provincial force’s distracted driving campaign, which starts Monday (March 12) and goes until Sunday (March 18).
Police call it a “form of impaired driving” and will be looking for drivers who are playing with hand-held devices.
If you’re caught, it’s a $490 fine and three demerit points on your driver’s licence.
