BROCKVILLE – A check of some cars in the city’s south end on Boxing Day (Tuesday) for winter parking lawbreakers had an unexpected bonus for the Brockville Police Service.
Police say they found a vehicle, owned by a 21-year-old man, who had his ride parked outside an address he wasn’t supposed to be near under a court order.
After knocking on the front door, police found the suspect inside. He was arrested and charged with breach of recognizance of bail.
During the winter parking bylaw check, officers also handed out several tickets and towed other vehicles for being parked on the street overnight.
