BROCKVILLE – A local woman, fed up with allegedly being harassed for 15 months through calls, text messages and emails, went to the cops.

Now her 34-year-old boyfriend from Brockville is facing charges.

Brockville police say the woman came into the police station Sunday afternoon to report the harassment, which had continued since the accused had been arrested.

He had been arrested in May 2016 following a domestic dispute but released on a recognizance order with a no-contact order against the complainant.

The man, showing up for his regular court conditions to sign in with police, was arrested Monday morning and held for a bail hearing.

Police did not explain why the woman waited so long to report the violation to police.
