Over 200 caught speeding on Labour Day weekend

BROCKVILLE – A four day Labour Day blitz saw O.P.P. officers issue over 200 tickets for speeding on area roads in Leeds.

Leeds County O.P.P. released results today (Wednesday) of their traffic enforcement over the long weekend.

In addition to 204 speeding charges, there was five charges for stunt driving and a half dozen for not wearing a seat belt.

There were 57 other charges, including two for impaired driving and a couple where drivers blew in the warning range, leading to a 12-hour licence suspension.
