Cyclist ticketed in Parkedale Avenue collision

BROCKVILLE – A teenage cyclist has been ticketed after a collision on Parkedale Avenue Tuesday night.

Emergency responders were called to the street outside the Home Depot around 6:15 p.m. for the collision between a car and a bicycle.

By the time they arrived, the 19-year-old cyclist had already been taken to Brockville General Hospital by paramedics to be treated for minor injuries.

After speaking with witnesses and the driver, officers visited the hospital where the cyclist was presented with a ticket under the Highway Traffic Act.
