Update 1:11 p.m.: Brockville police say they have identified the woman and thank the public for their assistance.
BROCKVILLE – City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman, who has been hospitalized.
Investigators are concerned she may have been taking care of her children at the time, who are now without a guardian.
“Our only concern is to secure her identity to check on her children and notify family members,” the Brockville Police Service said in a release Sunday.
She is white, 5-foot-4 to 4-foot-6 inches tall, heavy set with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.
