‘Street Eats’ food festival comes back to Brockville

BROCKVILLE – Pop-up tents and the smell of food will make its return to the city as organizers gear up for the Downtown Brockville Street Eats festival and sidewalk sale.

This is the second year for the event, which features food trucks, music, a Battle of the Bands and more.

The sidewalk sale along King Street is on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

As well, local dignitaries will be participating in the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes for the Men, which is hosted by Leeds and Grenville Interval House.

The gender violence awareness march starts at 10 a.m.

The city is also running a shuttle every half hour from the Memorial Center to the downtown, with stops at the Kent Street hotels, the Brockville Arts Center and the courthouse.

The first bus leaves at 9 a.m.
