Frost advisory for Leeds-Grenville

BROCKVILLE – It’s the second week of May but the weather lately would have you believing it’s the middle of October.

Environment Canada issued a frost advisory this afternoon (Tuesday) for Leeds-Grenville.

The patchy frost is expected in many areas tonight, and will damage sensitive plants, such as fruit trees and vegetables.

Under a partly cloudy sky, the temperature is expected to drop to 0 Celsius overnight.

There is also the possibility of frost again on Wednesday night through Thursday morning, the weather agency said.
