ADDISON – It was a harrowing bus ride home for about 20 students, north of Brockville Monday.

A school bus rolled on Dixie Road East, between County Road 29 and Redan Road, northeast of Addison, after colliding with a farm tractor, Leeds County O.P.P. said.

According to a traffic spotter on social media, there were about 20 students on board and no serious injuries.

Leeds-Grenville paramedics were also on scene.

O.P.P. said some of the students were treated at the scene and released while others were transported to hospital.

According to social media posts, the bus was taking home students from Meadowview Public School — an elementary school in Addison.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Dixie Road East is closed and an estimated time of reopening is not known.
