GANANOQUE – Timothy Jackson always wondered what the lottery machines would say if he won.

Now, he doesn’t have to wonder anymore.

Jackson, a 52-year-old father of two, won the $100,000 top prize on the Sept. 28, 2016 drawing of Poker Lotto.

Jackson is planning to share some of the money with his children.

“I have two wonderful kids. My son is going to university and this money will go towards helping him out. My daughter is in college and currently lives at home while commuting to school. I told her to look for a place that is closer to college. I’m a simple man and I don’t need much. This money is mostly for them and it gives me peace of mind to be able to help with their schooling,” Jackson said.

The winning ticket was bought at the Petro-Canada on Princess Street in Kingston.
