Pot plantation uprooted in Front of Yonge

FRONT OF YONGE – Provincial police have been able to uproot an outdoor marijuana farm in Front of Yonge Township.

Officers with the Leeds County O.P.P. Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team destroyed the plantation on Wednesday (Aug. 31).

The exact location in the township wasn’t disclosed.

Police estimate the marijuana would have been worth $300,000 on the street.

No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
