Weeks out as BGH president, CEO

BROCKVILLE – The chairman of the Brockville General Hospital board of governors has announced Tony Weeks “is no longer employed by the hospital.”

In a brief statement Monday afternoon, Neil Bhatt said the change in the position of president and chief executive officer at the hospital was effective today (July 25).

“The board thanks Mr. Weeks for his service to BGH in the last three years,” Bhatt wrote.

Finding a replacement will begin immediately.

Wayne Blackwell, with the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, will serve as interim CEO.
