KEMPTVILLE – Police have shut down a marijuana growing operation, north of Kemptville.

Several divisions of the Ontario Provincial Police, along with North Grenville firefighters, searched a home on Rideau River Road late Tuesday morning (July 5).

Officers seized 104 marijuana clones, 19 mature plants and 64 grams of marijuana bud.

The estimated street value of the seizure is $21,000.

Marijuana clones are plants that are grown through asexual reproduction by cutting and rooting a healthy shoot from another plant.
