Rowdy park people in Gananoque leads to arrest

GANANOQUE – A boisterous group of people in the park on the Gananoque River has led to the arrest of one man.

Gananoque police were called early Tuesday morning (May 31) after receiving a noise complaint about people in the park behind Kinsmen Hall on Stone Street North.

When officers got there they found two men.

One was arrested for being drunk in public.

Police also found 118 grams of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia on him.

The 20-year-old suspect is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and was later released with a future court date.
