TORONTO — Ontario Provincial Police have issued an Amber Alert after a car was stolen in Toronto with a 3 month old baby inside.

Toronto Police say the child was in the rear of a grey, four-door 1997 Toyota Camry stolen in northwest Toronto Sunday afternoon.

Police describe the suspect as having blond hair and being in his 40s.

Police say they don’t know which direction the car was headed.

A Toronto television station reported police had said the baby’s father left the vehicle running while he went into a flea market and returned to find the car gone.

Police say the car’s license number is BWRC 161.
